VISIA Complexion Analysis

Originally developed by Procter & Gamble as a tool to study skin care more closely, VISIA Complexion Analysis has been improved and made readily available to the aesthetic market by Canfield Imaging Systems, the global leader in imaging systems for healthcare and wellness.

The VISIA system uses multi-spectral and RBX technology to expose the damage on and beneath the surface of our skin which is not measurable by a visual assessment. VISIA imaging allows our Skin Essentials specialists to evaluate the health and overall appearance based on six criteria that influence your complexion: surface spots, red and brown subsurface spots, UV damage caused by sun exposure, surface texture, wrinkles, pores, and porphyrins (indication of the P. acne bacteria).

Based on a database with more than 3000 individuals, you will be able to see how you compare to others who are the same age with a similar complexion. Your Skin Essentials provider will prescribe custom treatment/procedure recommendations, as well as an at home skin care regimen based on your initial exam, which includes your VISIA analysis.
